Trade Mission Baden-Württemberg, 8-10 October 2024

Open to all Sectors with a focus on Medtec and Automotive Companies

The Chambers of Commerce in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and LIOF organise a business trip to Baden-Württemberg (Stuttgart region) from 8th to 10th October 2024. 

The region around Stuttgart is considered one of the strongest economic regions in Germany. The numerous automotive suppliers and medtec companies based here operate at a global level. Many of them are hidden champions, others are clearly visible as world class. The IT sector, biotechnology and medical technology as well as the creative industries are further focal points of the region.

The trip is interesting for medtec and automotive companies but also opens up opportunities for other sectors.

What makes the participation interesting?

• A tailor made matchmaking program with potential partners or customers during a visit to the Supplier Day Automotive in Esslingen.
• Insight into the opportunities for your business in Baden-Württemberg.
• Company visits and visits to associations provide an insight into current trends.
• Introduction and exchange of experience with other participants.

Program

Tuesday, 8th October

• 1pm: Company visit on the way to Stuttgart: SEW-Eurodrive. Lunch by invitation of the company SEW-Eurodrive
• Arrival of the delegation in Stuttgart
• Check-in at Motel One, Lautenschlagerstrasse 14, Stuttgart
• Briefing / dinner: Netherlands Business Support Office (NSBO)

Wednesday, 9th October

• 9-10:30am: IHK Region Stuttgart, Dorothee Minne, Team Manager International Sectors:
  Economic Briefing on Baden-Württemberg and the Stuttgart Region.
• 11am-12pm: Investment Site Baden-Württemberg
• 1pm: Transfer by public transport to Böblingen
• 2pm: Company visit Philips 
• Transfer back to Stuttgart

Thursday, 10th October

• 8:30am: Bustransfer to Esslingen
• Visit of the Supplier Day in Esslingen. Main topic: Battery technology:
  Automotive Suppliers' Day Baden-Württemberg (zulieferertag-bw.de)
• B2B talks
• 12:00pm: Bustransfer to the company Festo
• 12:30pm: lunch by invitation of the company Festo
• 1:15pm: Company visit: Festo
• Bus transfer to the hotel

Costs

390,00 euro per person for the dates listened in the programme, B2B matching and transfers:
Stuttgart-Böblingen-Stuttgart and Stuttgart-Esslingen-Scharnhausen-Stuttgart.
Lunches on 9 and 10 October are also included.

Not included in the price are the costs for travelling to and from Baden-Württemberg, accommodation costs, dinners and individual expenses. However, a room contingent is available to participants. The price per night is 149,00 euro. You will receive details after your registration.

We reserve the right to cancel the trip. The decision go/ no go is made on 2nd September 2024 at the latest.

Possible costs you might have in case we have to cancel the trade mission can't be covered by us. 
You can cancel the participation until 23rd August 2024 without being charged. Afterwards 50 percent of the participation fee will be charged (195,00 euro).
